Hi!!!

It’s been a journey getting this website up, writing stories, and navigating this literary world. I’m hoping to share the journey with you here. Along with updates on my books.

Right now we’re in two different scary places:

Sending the 1st draft of my Romantic Fantasy off to an for a manuscript assessment – thoughts with this – I know something is missing. I know I need more world building and really making clear the character development. But I don’t even know where to begin. I need an outside POV so I can see if there’s truly a story there at all. I found an editor I think I like. So I’m excited to work with her.

In the mean time I’ve started a second book and now I’m back in the nitty gritty of coming up with a first draft. I’m so excited because – don’t tell my partner – but it feels like a love story to us. And it’s slightly giving me crippling anxiety to finish because I want to do it so much justice.

Last time I pants…. pantsed?

This time I’ve plotted. I haven’t decided which one I like best. But we’ll see when I finish the first draft.
