When I finished the first draft of my debut I struggled with what to do next. I went into the deep end of social media tips on how to handle publishing – trad and self publishing.
They both seemed so daunting. But what I struggled with most is marketing and being able to identify what my book is about.
And I still do – every day I think about something new that I want to change. But I’m forcing myself to keep the book away for now.
Obviously not forever!!!! I sent it off for a manuscript assessment because I need to know what’s working and what’s not. There’s something missing – are you seeing what I’m seeing??

For now I’m working on a contemporary romance and trying to become better at consistently posting where ever I can. So enjoy this guide to Into the Fire.

Am I supposed to be doing one this early in the process – truthfully I have no clue… and probably not. But I do know it’s helping me process what I want for my book.
And if it helps me land an agent in the process….
Then I say HELL YEAH!

These characters have been my babies for so long and want to do right by them. I want to introduce them to other people. Not because you’re going to learn some deep lesson from them. (You might – who knows it’s a matriarchal society with four elemental fairy factions ran by Potnia’s.) But because the lessons they learn, the yearning they yearn, and I did the damn thing.
If you stayed this long… Cheers to you; YOU’RE THE FIRST TO SEE MY FIRST MOCK UP BOOK COVER!!!!
What do you think??
