This week I looked at my writing stats and saw a day where I only wrote 98 words. I just know I was staring at the screen hoping for something to come to me and then began doom scrolling and never found my way back.
Something I’ve learned on this journey is sometimes the world gets loud. Social media is the loudest and often I find myself trying to fit into whatever author box is currently on my feed for that day. And I can tell my writing takes on that persona. And then I have to go back and fix it.
Comparison is the death of my creativity.
